Being a Virtual Assistant means I can work anywhere and it also means my clients can be anywhere too.  Although I’m based in Essex, I have clients from all over the UK and even have clients abroad.

Working virtually means I hardly, if ever, actually meet my clients in person, which is why Skype is so invaluable to me. I could easily list the various reasons why Skype is a fantastic tool to have at your disposal, but that sounds like a topic for another blog post!

There are certain times when you need to be able to talk face to face and see what’s going on in ‘real time’. Whether working virtually is your full time way of life or you just happen to be in your company’s New York office, you never know when you’ll need to work on something with your Virtual Assistant, client or a colleague.

Here’s how to share your computer screen on Skype, it’s super easy!

  1. Open up your Skype account.
  2. Call your client.
  3. Once you’re in the call click the big + symbol on the talk screen.
  4. Click ‘Share Screens’ .
  5. Click Start Sharing and wait a few seconds.

That’s it! You’re now sharing your computer screen on Skype! Told you it was super easy.
